ARAMARK Student Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to assist deserving students with the costs of a Grand Valley education, and to acknowledge current students who have a record of positive involvement in clubs, organizations, extra-curricular activities, and/or community services; and reward students who serve as positive representatives for GVSU Campus Dining and Grand Valley State University.

  • Candidates must be full-time
  • Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Must be making satisfactory academic progress
  • Preference will be given to students who have served at least two semesters of their work study assignment at a GVSU Campus Dining location

  4. Please upload a typed 1-page essay describing yourself, your educational and career goals, and your experience performing community service on campus while pursuing a degree at Grand Valley. Describe one community service experience outside of school that is most meaningful to you. Please provide 3-4 goals you intend to set to achieve while in college and that will help prepare you to enter your career. Include what you plan to do with your education from GVSU. Remember that the committee will read many essays and you must make them understand why you should receive this scholarship.
