Paul and Dianna Johnson STEM Pathway Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to help widen the pathway to graduation for students from middle income families who do not qualify for federal need-based aid and are ineligible for many of the government programs intended to help defray the costs of tuition and fees. Support from the Grand Valley community will impact the University’s highest priority and help students from middle income families to avoid indebtedness, achieve their goals, and become fully engaged citizens. To be eligible for this scholarship:
- Recipients shall have been accepted for, or currently enrolled at Grand Valley State University
- Must be enrolled full time as a junior or senior
- Have a declared major in any STEM program, and be making Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated involvement in activities/organizations beyond their STEM coursework
Financial need shall be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Renewal Criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
