Don and Millie Wagner Scholarship in Memory of Caprice R. Wagner

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students with financial need who share the values and career goals to which Caprice aspired. She was a firm believer that education is empowering. Ideal candidates will have volunteer, internship, or work experience in programs or nonprofit organizations that address women’s issues.

  • Candidates for this scholarship should be accepted or currently enrolled at GVSU
  • Student must be an undergraduate junior, senior or graduate student enrolled full time in the College of Community and Public Service.
  • Preference will be given to candidates majoring in Social Work or Public and Nonprofit Administration who demonstrate a commitment to empowering others.
  • Financial need, as determined by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid may be considered (but not required).

Renewal Criteria: May receive scholarship for a total of 4 semesters.
