First Generation Career Support Scholarship (Winter)

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and assist first generation students participating in an unpaid internship or experiential learning opportunity approved by the university.

To qualify, you must:
*be an undergraduate enrolled full time
*be completing an internship for credit
*be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) https://www.gvsu.edu/financialaid/satisfactory-academic-progress-sap-17.htm
*be the first in their family to earn a four-year degree (First Generation)

Financial need may be considered, and shall be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

This scholarship has multiple opportunities. Please apply for the scholarship posting that aligns with your internship start date:
Fall semester start: Fall application
Winter semester start: Winter application
Spring/Summer semester start: Spring/Summer application

This scholarship may not be renewed.
