FTCH Occupational Safety and Health Management Pathway Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students pursuing careers in occupational safety and health and help widen the pathway to graduation for students from middle income families who do not qualify for federal need-based aid and are ineligible for many of the government programs intended to help defray the costs of tuition and fees. Support from the Grand Valley community will impact the University’s highest priority and help students from middle income families to avoid indebtedness, achieve their goals, and become fully engaged citizens.
- Recipients of this scholarship shall have been accepted for or currently enrolled at GVSU
- Must be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more)
- With a declared major in Occupational Safety and Health Management
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale
Financial need shall be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Renewal Criteria: This scholarship may be renewed with reapplication provided the recipient continues to meet the qualifications stated above. This scholarship may be awarded to an individual for a maximum of four semesters.
