GVSU Peace and Justice Activist Scholarship

This scholarship was founded on the belief in the power of students to utilize their education to evoke social, economic, and political justice. This scholarship is awarded to students who have intentionally combined their classroom learning with practical experiences to focus on justice and peace issues in their home communities or abroad. An annual scholarship is made to a GVSU student based upon student qualifications and a personal statement.

  • Must be currently enrolled at GVSU
  • Must be undergraduate enrolled in 12 or more credit hours
  • Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0

Renewal Criteria: Non-renewable

Selection Committee: This scholarship is awarded by a faculty committee whose decisions and rationale are guided by the qualifications of the student applicants and the intent of the award.
