First Generation Study Abroad Scholarship

The purpose is to support students who are the first in their family to attend college with the cost of a university approved study abroad opportunity.

To qualify, students must:
*be an undergraduate enrolled full time
*be accepted and enrolled in a university approved study abroad program
*be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) https://www.gvsu.edu/financialaid/satisfactory-academic-progress-sap-17.htm
*be the first in their family to earn a four-year degree (First Generation)

Financial need may be considered, and shall be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

This scholarship may not be renewed.
