Positive Black Women Scholarship

The original intent of this scholarship was to assist African-American women in developing and achieving their academic goals. Today, this scholarship is offered to any GVSU student who demonstrates a successful service contribution to African American women and girls and/or a demonstrated personal commitment to African American Women’s issues.

• This scholarship is open to all student applicants regardless of their race, creed, color, gender or sexual orientation
• Preference to part or full-time, re-entering or non-traditional applicants.
• Students who are studying abroad are encouraged to apply

Renewal Criteria: Non-renewable, but recipients can reapply
