Holliday-Willey Psychology Scholarship for the Study of Autism Spectrum Disorders
This scholarship was established for students who are interested in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and plan a future career or service working with individuals with ASD. Requirements of candidates include:
- Junior or Senior undergraduate or graduate standing (55 credits or more)
- Enrollment as a degree-seeking Psychology major, Comprehensive Science and Arts of Teaching (CSAT) major, or a related field at GVSU
- Enrolled full time as undergraduate or graduate
- Must express and demonstrate an academic interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders as evidenced by a scholarship application essay, which includes future educational and career goals
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better
- Financial need is not required. However, all other qualifications being equal, priority will be given to scholarship applicants that have financial need based on the current FAFSA
- Candidates diagnosed as having a Autism Spectrum Disorders are given additional consideration
Renewal Criteria: Renewable for up to 4 – 6 semesters
