Kaufman Family Scholarship Honoring L. William Seidman

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist juniors and seniors in the Seidman College of Business with the cost of a GV education and encourage and recognize students involved in the Business Ethics Center to explore ethics, moral behavior and meaning in business.

  • Recipients for this scholarship shall have been accepted for or currently enrolled at GVSU
  • Must be an undergraduate and enrolled for 12 credit hours or more in the Seidman College of Business
  • Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale) and shall be making satisfactory academic progress according to the norms established by the University
  • Preference will be given to students who demonstrate involvement in Business Ethics Center programming and courses

Financial need may be considered (not required) and shall be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Renewal Criteria: This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the recipient continues to meet the qualifications stated above. This scholarship may be awarded to an individual for a maximum of 4 semesters. The Business Ethics center and the Financial Aid Office will monitor the recipients’ progress and scholastic achievement for renewal of this award.
