Marney Houseman MacAdam Voice Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to reward exceptional voice students by assisting them with the cost of their education at Grand Valley State University (GVSU).
- Recipients of this scholarship shall have been accepted for or currently enrolled as degree seeking students at GVSU.
- They must be an undergraduate with 55 or more earned credit hours and enrolled for 12 credit hours or more in Bachelor of Music (voice performance), Bachelor of Music Education (vocal), or Bachelor of Art (vocal emphasis)
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater and shall be making satisfactory academic progress according to the norms established by the University
- Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate their focus on and concentration in vocal performance
Renewal Criteria: Scholarships may be renewed without reapplication provided the recipient continues to meet the qualifications stated above. The scholarship may be awarded to an individual for a maximum of 4 semesters.
