Timothy R. Zeeb in honor of Adam M. Malson
Timothy R. Zeeb, who graduated from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in 2002 with a major in International Relations and minors in Political Science and German, has established the Adam M. Malson Memorial Scholarship in honor of his dear friend and fallen hero, 1st Lieutenant Adam M. Malson. While not a GVSU alumnus, Adam was a Michigan native who was passionate about both politics and international events. During his college years, he focused on Political Science and related social sciences, obtaining nearly a 4.0 GPA while participating in collegiate athletics and the ROTC. Adam was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 31sst Infantry Regiment, based at Fort Drum, NY, and was killed in action while on patrol in Baghdad on February 19, 2005. While only 23 years old, Adam experienced more in those years than many do in a lifetime. He was a loving husband, caring son, dear friend, and American hero.
