Randell “Randy” and Debra “Debbie" Price
The Randy and Debbie Price Scholarship was established in 2015 by Randell “Randy” Price and his wife Debra “Debbie”. Randy Price is the owner-operator of the largest franchise organization of McDonald’s restaurants in Michigan, (19 locations) all in West Michigan. He is also the owner of Lakeshore Staffing, LLC, a successful developer/builder of properties in Florida and Michigan, designer/patent holder of a consumer product, founder/managing member of Quick Serve Mechanical, and founder and co-owner of MI Auto Center LLC.
He is a past board member of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, and was a previous board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lakeshore. He is also a reserve deputy sheriff with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
Randy attended Kellogg Community College and Olivet College where he studied engineering and business administration. Randy was raised by a single parent, and met his wife Debbie while attending Harper Creek Schools in Battle Creek. Debbie received her associate degree from Kellogg Community College. Debbie then worked at the Kellogg Co. for 15 years. She grew within the company to become Manager of Corporate Contributions and Executive Services. Debbie left the Kellogg Co. and managed the accounting and administration of the McDonald’s business, starting in 1991. Out of gratitude for the opportunities their education afforded them, they are creating opportunities for future generations of aspiring business owners to promote economic growth in our communities.
Randy also serves on the GVSU Seidman College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and the Grand Valley University Foundation Board.
