Grand Forum

Grand Forum

Grand Valley State University holds that education is a lifelong process, and should be accessible to anyone regardless of age, work schedule or family responsibilities. The Continuing Education Division coordinates programs and a variety of student services, at regional locations, to meet a wide range of needs throughout the west Michigan region.

In addition, the Continuing Education Division includes Grand Forum, a membership program for those over 55 years of age. Grand Forum provides programming of interest to seniors. Over its short history, the membership of Grand Forum has made significant contributions to the Grand Forum Endowment that is administered by the university. The funds spun off by this endowment are available to Grand Forum to apply to the furtherance of its mission of promoting continuing education.

“When I finish my degree I will be the first generation in my family to receive a college degree. I can already see the difference it has made in my life and the lives of my children.” – AG

“I would not be able to afford my college education if it weren’t for grants and scholarship. I am so grateful for people like you who see the benefit in supporting non-traditional students like myself.” – AG
